Project approach
1 senior project manager works as interim chief commercial officer for a precision fermentation startup to bridge the gap until a full-time chief commercial officer starts. The work is completed over a time horizon of several weeks up to several months. The interim chief commercial officer works on all key business-related tasks.

Results
Close involvement of senior project manager as part of startup leadership team. Interim chief commercial officer manages all business-related activities such as strategy development, sales discussions with potential B2B customers, funding round preparation, engineering-based cost forecasting, business plan development, liquidity and burn rate planning, pitch deck preparation, and HR management. The work is performed in hybrid setting with combination of on-site workshops and remote work.
